The Soul Surgeons

After more than a decade of soulful music making the Soul Surgeons are bigger, better and more beautiful than ever before. The eleven piece dance band based in Leeds and Harrogate continues to perform with verve there own eclectic mix of soul, blues and pop standards throwing in the odd surprise as they go along.

Originally formed from an itinerate group of eye surgeons lead by lead singer and regular Harrogate hunk Ian Simmons who still fronts the band. They now boast a second exciting singer in the artful shape of soul diva Janet Whisker. Put these two together with a driving rhythm section, colourful brass and bluesy guitar and you get the experience which is the Soul Surgeons.
