Following the fantastic success of last year's Annual Charity Beer Festival held at the Harrogate Conference Centre, Harrogate and District Round Table will be hosting the 2012 event at the Crown Hotel, Harrogate over three days from Thursday 16th February to Saturday 18th February. We have moved venues as a result of the Crown's very charitable rate, allowing much more of our sponsors funding to go to worthy causes.
This year we will again be running real ale bars with the assistance of Daleside and Theakstons Breweries serving over 30 beers sourced from brewers all over the UK, in addition to a cider and lager bar and a dedicated bar for wine. There will be a free buffet available to sponsors each evening and private access to bars exclusively for sponsors. We also have live music every night.
Over the past eighteen years, with the generous help of our sponsors, we have raised many thousands of pounds for local charities which have included Henshaw's College, Yorkshire Cancer Research, Martin House, Shopmobility and Disability Action Yorkshire. Last year we raised over £40,000 for local charities.
